Mahindra XUV 3XO Demolishes Nexon: Premium Features Under 7.5 Lakh with ADAS

Mahindra XUV 3XO : The compact SUV segment witnessed a significant evolution as Mahindra launched its highly anticipated XUV 3XO (formerly XUV300) on April 29, 2024. This strategic update brings premium features and enhanced performance while maintaining competitive pricing against segment leader Tata Nexon.

XUV 3XO Design and Aesthetics

The 2024 XUV 3XO showcases a bold evolution with striking new elements. The exterior features LED headlamps with fang-shaped DRLs, a revised front grille with chrome-finished triangular elements, and a muscular profile that creates an imposing presence. The rear receives a complete makeover with connected LED taillights, a full-width light bar, and a redesigned tailgate with the registration plate now moved to the bumper.

XUV 3XO Engine and Performance

At the heart of the XUV 3XO lies three sophisticated engine options. The 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine produces 110 PS and 200 Nm of torque, while the more powerful 1.2-liter TGDi petrol delivers 130 PS and up to 250 Nm. The 1.5-liter diesel engine generates 117 PS and 300 Nm of torque. All engines come paired with either a 6-speed manual or a new Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission.

XUV 3XO Technology and Features

Mahindra has equipped the XUV 3XO with segment-leading features including dual 10.25-inch displays – one for the instrument cluster and another for infotainment. The comprehensive package includes wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and a segment-first panoramic sunroof.

XUV 3XO Safety Features

Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera system. The SUV also features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), making it one of the most technologically advanced vehicles in its segment.

XUV 3XO Efficiency and Practicality

The XUV 3XO delivers impressive fuel efficiency while maintaining strong performance characteristics. With dimensions of 3995mm length, 1821mm width, and a wheelbase of 2600mm, it offers generous space for five passengers. The SUV comes with a practical 42-liter fuel tank capacity and comfortable ground clearance suitable for Indian road conditions.

XUV 3XO Market Position and Pricing

The 2024 XUV 3XO is available in multiple variants starting from Rs. 7.49 lakh (introductory ex-showroom). It comes in two series – MX and AdrenoX AX, with variants including MX1, MX2, MX2 PRO, MX3, MX3 PRO in the MX series, and AX5, AX5L, AX7, and AX7L in the AdrenoX series.
